Domaine Joannès Violot-Guillemard is a family estate located in Pommard, Côte de Beaune. Since 2019, Joannès, the sixth generation of the family, has been managing the estate, succeeding his father Thierry. The estate spans 8 hectares, primarily in the Pommard appellation, with prestigious cuvées such as Les Épenots, La Platière, Les Rugiens or Beaune 1er cru Clos des Mouches. Joannès favors a fresher, more elegant style of winemaking, while preserving the traditional structure and identity of Pommard that his father embodied.
