Futures & Allocations

En Primeur

Secure future allocations from leading estates at release.

What is En Primeur?

The oldest way to secure the finest wine.

En primeur offers clients the possibility to secure wines before bottling and before general market release.

For serious collectors, it remains one of the most effective ways to access exceptional vintages with provenance established at source.

At Dantec Cellars, en primeur opportunities are offered selectively and with attention to long-term quality, reputation and cellar potential.

Why en primeur

Three reasons serious collectors act early

I

Provenance at source

Buying en primeur establishes an unbroken chain of custody from the domaine. Provenance is documented from the first day of existence.

II

Access to allocation

The most sought-after wines are often fully allocated before release. En primeur is frequently the only path to securing them.

III

Long-term value

Exceptional vintages secured at release prices have historically appreciated significantly. The cellar investment begins on day one.

The process

How en primeur works at Dantec

I

Opportunity presented

En primeur offers are presented privately — first to Private Circle members, then selectively to other clients where allocations permit.

II

Allocation reserved

You confirm your allocation and secure it at release price. Full documentation is issued at point of reservation.

III

Wine produced & bottled

The wine matures in barrel at the domaine. You are kept informed of progress, with direct updates where available.

IV

Delivery or storage

On release, your bottles are delivered directly or placed into bonded storage — with full provenance continuity maintained throughout.
