Description
Founded in the 1830s by Pierre Jacquemin, a former mustard-maker turned vigneron, Domaine du Cerberon has remained in the same family for six generations. The estate spans approximately 2.84 hectares, with vineyards primarily located in Meursault and smaller plots in Pommard and Volnay. All vineyards are sustainably farmed, and the vinification process takes place entirely in-house, within ancient cellars dating from the 12th to 14th centuries in the heart of Meursault.
The Les Cras climat lies on Meursault’s northern edge, bordering Volnay. The domaine owns about 0.6 hectares of this premier cru, with vines planted between 1960 and 1982. This site is known for producing rich, full-bodied Chardonnay wines with strong minerality and depth—hallmarks of classic Meursault.
