Description

DANCER VINCENT
Vincent Dancer is a talented winemaker from Burgundy. With an engineering degree in hand, he took over the family vineyard in 1996. He replanted his vines with high density according to the principles of organic farming. After 7 years of tasting and experimentation, he began selling his white wines under his own label. He later expanded his range with beautiful red wine cuvées. A proponent of living wine, he creates whites and reds whose finesse and mouthfeel density have become his signature. The Chassagne-Montrachet La Romanée or Meursault Perrières from the Dancer Vincent estate are now must-have wines from Burgundy.

Geographical Location of the Vincent Dancer Estate
The Vincent Dancer estate spans six hectares and is located in the Côte de Beaune wine region. Four hectares of the estate are dedicated to Burgundy white wines, while the other plots are reserved for red wines from the Côte de Beaune. Located in the communes of Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, Pommard, and Beaune, the estate’s vineyards are planted on limestone and marl soils. They benefit from an oceanic climate with a semi-continental tendency. The southeast exposure of the estate’s vines promotes their growth and contributes to the creation of great red and white wines.

The Wines of the Vincent Dancer Estate
The wines from the Vincent Dancer estate are elegant and balanced. The white wines are made from the Chardonnay grape variety. They are recognizable by their yellow color with green reflections. Their floral nose and mineral character are characteristic of Burgundy white wines. This grape variety produces famous appellations such as Le Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru, Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru La Romanée or Morgeot Tête du Clos, Meursault Premier Cru Les Perrières, Meursault Les Corbins, or Les Grands Charrons. The Pinot Noir grape produces fruity red wines with a nose of blackberries and blueberries. Notable examples include Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru La Grande Borne, Pommard Premier Cru Les Pézerolles, and Beaune Premier Cru Les Montrevenots.
