Domaine Leroy
Domain

The Pinnacle of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay
Founded in 1988 by the legendary Lalou Bize-Leroy, Domaine Leroy is a name synonymous with absolute excellence in Burgundy. Based in Vosne-Romanée, the estate has earned an almost mythical reputation for its rare wines, uncompromising biodynamic viticulture, and exceptional craftsmanship.
Lalou Bize-Leroy is not only the driving force behind Domaine Leroy, but also a former co-owner and long-time co-director of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti (DRC) — arguably the most famous wine estate in the world. This deep connection to DRC brought her unparalleled knowledge of Burgundy’s greatest terroirs and a relentless pursuit of perfection, which she then applied fully to her own domaine.
The estate’s holdings read like a roll call of Burgundy’s finest vineyards: Richebourg, Romanée-Saint-Vivant, Musigny, Chambertin, Clos de la Roche, among others. Each parcel is farmed with meticulous, hands-on care — without chemicals, with extremely low yields, and only picking grapes at perfect physiological maturity.
In the cellar, the philosophy mirrors the work in the vines: natural fermentations, minimal intervention, and extended aging in the very best oak barrels. The result is wines of extraordinary depth, purity, and energy, capable of aging for decades while offering profound pleasure at every stage of their life.
Today, Domaine Leroy is revered worldwide by collectors, sommeliers, and fine wine lovers as one of the most prestigious and sought-after names in Burgundy — a true symbol of rarity, purity, and terroir expression.
Signature style: highly aromatic, silk-textured, and perfectly balanced between elegance and power — unmistakably Leroy.
