Founded in the 17th century and passed down through six generations, Domaine Truchetet is based in Premeaux-Prissey, a hamlet of Nuits-Saint-Georges. Julie and Morgan Truchetet took over from their father Jean-Pierre in January 2019, working alongside Pauline Genot — already regarded as some of the most promising new talent in Burgundy.

The estate covers seven hectares, with vines averaging 60 years old, certified organic in 2023. Farming is hands-on: cover crops, soil work and plant-based preparations of dandelion, nettle and horsetail in place of synthetic treatments.

This Bourgogne Chardonnay comes from organically farmed vines in Premeaux-Prissey. It is aged 8 to 10 months in oak barrels, a portion of them new — enough to give texture without covering the fruit.

Aromas of white flowers and citrus lead into a harmonious blend of freshness and minerality, closing on a refined finish. A Bourgogne blanc made for purity and terroir expression rather than weight.
