Kei Shiogai is one of the most confidential names in modern Burgundy — a Japanese vigneron working from a handful of barrels, whose wines have acquired a cult following far out of proportion to their microscopic production. Allocations are personal; bottles almost never reach the open market.
The 2020 Pommard captures a warm, concentrated vintage with unusual freshness — dark-fruited and structured, yet lifted and perfumed in the house style. A rare opportunity to taste one of Burgundy’s quietest legends.
