Domaine de la Romanée-Conti remains the most celebrated estate in Burgundy — and among the most revered in the world. Romanée-Saint-Vivant, the largest of the domaine’s Grand Cru holdings, consistently produces wines of extraordinary finesse and transparency.
The 2009 is shaped by a warm, generous vintage — opulent and giving by DRC standards, yet retaining the signature precision and silky depth that define this terroir. Dark cherry, rose petal and spice on the nose, with a seamless, long and profoundly elegant finish.
Still drinking beautifully in 2026, with significant potential through to 2040 and beyond under proper storage.
