Domaine Boigey Frères was founded in 2017 in Vosne-Romanée by the brothers Olivier and Guillaume Boigey, who come from a line of Burgundian winemakers established since 1900 — a young domaine built on old foundations.

The vines average forty years old and are farmed without chemicals, with careful soil management and light ploughing to preserve microbial life. Fruit is hand-harvested, fermented on natural yeasts, and aged in oak barrel with a measured hand.

The signature runs through the whole range: freshness, tension, fine tannins and a distinct salinity.

« Les Damodes » sits at the very northern end of Nuits-Saint-Georges, high on the slope where the commune runs into Vosne-Romanée. The altitude and the proximity show: this is the airy, perfumed side of Nuits rather than its usual iron fist.

2023 was warm and abundant, and the reds are supple. Wild raspberry and violet over white pepper and crushed stone; lifted and fine on the palate, the tannins delicate, closing mineral and saline.
