Domaine Boigey Frères was founded in 2017 in Vosne-Romanée by the brothers Olivier and Guillaume Boigey, who come from a line of Burgundian winemakers established since 1900 — a young domaine built on old foundations.

The vines average forty years old and are farmed without chemicals, with careful soil management and light ploughing to preserve microbial life. Fruit is hand-harvested, fermented on natural yeasts, and aged in oak barrel with a measured hand.

The signature runs through the whole range: freshness, tension, fine tannins and a distinct salinity.

The Bourgogne Rouge comes from parcels around Vosne-Romanée and is made with the same hands and the same care as the crus above it — which is the whole argument for buying a régionale from a good Côte de Nuits address.

2023 was a warm, abundant vintage that rewarded those who managed their yields. Fresh red cherry and wild strawberry with a light floral lift; juicy and taut on the palate, tannins fine, closing saline. The house style in miniature.
