Founded by Denis Mortet in the early 1990s, this iconic estate has become a benchmark in Gevrey-Chambertin for its precision, purity, and deep respect for terroir. Today, the domaine is led by his son, Arnaud Mortet, who has continued to refine the style with an obsessive focus on vineyard health, low yields, and gentle vinification.

Working with some of the finest old vines in the Côte de Nuits—including several lieux-dits in Gevrey and prestigious Premier and Grand Crus—Mortet crafts wines that combine power and finesse, elegance and structure.
