Domaine Boigey Frères was founded in 2017 in Vosne-Romanée by the brothers Olivier and Guillaume Boigey, who come from a line of Burgundian winemakers established since 1900 — a young domaine built on old foundations.

The vines average forty years old and are farmed without chemicals, with careful soil management and light ploughing to preserve microbial life. Fruit is hand-harvested, fermented on natural yeasts, and aged in oak barrel with a measured hand.

The signature runs through the whole range: freshness, tension, fine tannins and a distinct salinity.

« Les Suchots » runs along the northern edge of Vosne-Romanée, wedged between Richebourg and Échezeaux. Few premiers crus in Burgundy have a better address, and in the right hands it delivers grand cru perfume at a step below grand cru price.

2023 was warm and abundant; the reds are supple and open-framed. Griotte cherry and rose over warm spice and undergrowth; silken and sappy on the palate, the tannins finely drawn, the finish very long and saline. The domaine’s finest premier cru.
